This 90-minute session will introduce engineers to the ACI/PCI CODE 319, jointly developed by the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI), highlighting new code requirements for precast concrete developed by the PCI Design Standards Committee. Dr. Ned Cleland and Dr. SK Ghosh will present PCI handbook items such as dapped/notched ends, intermediate precast concrete shearwalls, and other new provisions adapted for inclusion in ACI/PCI CODE 319.
