Is Stress Your Drug? Breaking the Burnout Cycle
Is Stress Your Drug? Breaking the Burnout Cycle
Description
This session explores a critical but often unnamed force in the precast workforce: neurochemical addiction to stress-based emotional states. Even sober, high-performing team members often operate in cortisol-fueled cycles—reacting from old habits, surviving on adrenaline, and unknowingly dragging their teams with them.
Using a framework called The Dissolve™, this webinar delivers a somatic and neuroscience-informed map out of survival mode—into clarity, calm, and effective leadership.
Participants will learn how to:
- Spot the signs of emotional addiction to stress—even in high-functioning teams and leaders
- Understand how stress-based thought loops chemically alter behavior and performance
- Use a nervous-system-safe process (Name it. Soften it. Sashay through it.) to break the pattern and shift into clear, sustainable leadership
Ideal Audience: Precast project leaders, plant managers, safety officers, HR professionals, and executives looking to reduce burnout, improve performance, and lead through stress with presence—not force.
Presenter: Laurie McGinley, Transformation Guide, Founder of Via Lucent, Author of Running Into the Petri Dish of Burnout
