Presenter: Cal Beyer, CWP is a human capital risk management and wellbeing consultant. He has over 30 years of construction and manufacturing risk management and safety experience. He serves on the Executive Committee for the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention and the Lived Experience Advisory Committee of the Suicide Prevention Resource Center. He is a strategic partner with national nonprofit SAFE Project (Stop the Addiction Fatality Epidemic).Beyer helped launch the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention in 2016 while working for an asphalt producer and paving contractor in the Pacific Northwest. Engineering News-Record named him a Top 25 Newsmaker for 2016. The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) presented him with the Mental Health Industry Advocacy Award in 2022. Cal is a frequent speaker at industry events and a regular contributor to various industry publications.
